About Regan Traphagen
Regan is an Emmy nominated communications specialist with specialties in writing, photography, video editing, and social media. Regan has 8 years experience in communications, and has worked in news, associations, nonprofits, and education.

Regan has served as the Webmaster & Social Media Specialist at Township High School District 211 since November 2022, and in that time has measurably grown their social media presence, incorporated new analytical tools to help manage social media content and metrics, created and implemented marketing campaigns for multiple departments, and produced social media content. Regan's goal is to design and implement management systems on web design and social media to maintain consistency in the district's online presence, so that if and when emergencies happen - which, in education, is frequent - resources can focus on the problem at hand without losing media or web coverage.
Prior to District 211, Regan worked as a freelance photographer, videographer, and marketing consultant during the pandemic. Regan's worked as the Digital Communications Specialist for the Chicago Association of REALTORS, a Regional Business Manager at Best Brains Learning Centers, and a Multimedia Journalist at WMBF News, where she reported live on air in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina covering hurricane Matthew in 2016.

Freelancing taught Regan the value of professional development and dedicating time to grow. Regan is currently working on developing her graphic design and HTML skills.

Regan volunteers for nonprofit Chicago Run, and is active in the Chicago LGBTQ community, Her photography has been featured on Arc'teryx's Instagram account.
